"Concert News Last Night: Dway, Bobby Hustle and Papa Black at Nectar"

And that's the thing: the combo of the clubber crowd lured to Nectar largely by promoters Imperial VIP and the super-slick, sorta anachronistic spectacle of Dway and his more socially-conscious, though no less pop-centric, Dynasty colleague Bobby Hustle rocking sounds that originated on islands far from their Bainbridge Island hometown gelled in a way I was all too surprised to see. Add to that the roaring street swagger of Papa Black, another Dynasty artist, and you had a night that convinced me these three acts, not to mention their DJs Chukkie and Cide, are something to look out for in the local scene. Indeed, you'll have your chance May 28 at Nectar, when all (save for Papa Black) play along with Fatal Lucciauno, Wizdom, and others. Now, that's a pretty picture.

Bobby Hustle has always had a love of music. From early, Bobby was listening to reggae greats and in short time he made the link between the classics of the 70’s and the contemporary dancehall reggae music of today. His distinctly jamaican style is evidence of this influence, while his exposure to American pop music shines through as well. Bobby hopes to bridge a gap with his music; one that has been bridged a few times before. Reggae music is becoming a worldwide force to reckon with. Bobby says, "Welcome to the Hustle!"
