Biography

Looking to be one of the fresh faces in Hip Hop music….. Bobby Katz.

Bobby Katz was born on September 11th 1983. Bobby is from Italian and German decent and his parents are named Susan and Timothy. Raised in the small city of Erie, Pennsylvania, Bobby’s family has always been considered middle class. Bobby’s household was always hectic with four other siblings around also (Kristen, Matthew, Ashley, Brittnay). It seemed like Bobby Katz was always destined for stardom.
Bobby wrote his first rhyme in 1998 exactly 3 days after he received his first Hip-Hop album from one of his best friends. “I was just listening to the beat when my first bar popped in my head,” Bobby says. Bobby was mostly into the punk rock scene at the time and was getting tired of the sound. He wrote that first bar down and it was off from there. Bobby then went on to form a rap group named “Kase 3” with the help of his buddies Chris ands Dre. Bobby was actually kicked out of the group because the other members did not think that his “rhymes” were up to par. An upset Bobby Katz (13 at the time) vowed never to let anybody listen to his “rhymes” until there was no possible way anyone would be able to say that he wasn’t good enough. Skip ahead to 2005………..
After spending years on his craft, (staying up late where no one would see what he was doing, hiding his rhyme books, and basically not telling a single soul he was still rapping) Bobby knew it was time to hit a studio and show the world what he was made of. Bobby became a true student of Hip-Hop music, studying his idols. They include such artists as Jay-z, Tupac, NaS, Cam’ron, Eminem, Kanye West, and Snoop Dogg. He studied their delivery, style, and any quality that set them apart from the rest. He has since found his own niche over those years of studying, writing, and making songs and now can be compared to some of the great Hip-Hop artists of today.
Bobby’s music can be described as entertaining, inspirational, moving, evolutionary, and socially conscious. Bobby considers himself a true artist, always putting whatever he is feeling at the time into his songs. Bobby has also performed in many venues in many cities including Erie, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and New York City. He is really at his best when he is on stage. He loves the attention and really concentrates on giving the audience an entertaining, exciting, and unforgettable performance. As far as Bobby is concerned, he is the future of Hip-Hop music.

Life As We Know It

Written By: Bobby Katz

“Life As We Know It” – Bobby Katz

Verse 1
It’s just life as we know it
I’m crying inside and I don’t really show it
Wouldn’t call myself a rapper
Wouldn’t say that I’m a poet
Used to pop pills and tablets everyday to stay focused
And when the batch ran out you can find me at the bottom
I pushed it to the side so I’m staying with my problems
Man I got to solve them ‘cause my calling keeps calling
And my progress is stalling so the same things revolving
The same things a mess
I’m depressed and I’m stressed
Don’t want to work behind a desk
For some rich ass execs
A bunk ass check
Living like a bum thinking what the fucks next
So I
Write down my rhymes and songs
And if you all feel the same then we can all sing along
My name is bobby katz and my will is so strong
I feel I’m almost there I’m getting ready then I’m gone

Chorus

Its just life as we know it
I’m crying inside and I don’t really show it
Wouldn’t call myself a rapper
Wouldn’t say that I’m a poet
But this side of my life was brought to me at my lowest
I’m looking up at the sky
Searching for the rain clouds cause the ground now is dry
Uh? I guess it was the tears that I cried
Found what I got to find so they stay in my eyes

Verse 2

Time to swallow my pride
Come along for the ride
You can stand by my side
Just don’t fuck up the vibe
And I’d like to just tell you how special you are
Lovey dovey blah blah moon and the stars
And I really do mean that
I hope that you believe that
It’s hard to get my feelings out I think that you can see that
And even though my confidence is high as hell
And my man many strongs not living in a cell
My bodies not lying right where my puke fell
I can still spill my heart right where the chumps dwell
The beat keeps me company alone in my room
I’m still trying to find some fuckin poison to consume
I said I’m not a poet but these poems I wrote em
Roses are blue, why the fuck I keep going
Violets are red, rip the seem keep flowing
Did that even make sense, what the fuck keep flowin

Chorus

Its just life as we know it
I’m crying inside and I don’t really show it
Wouldn’t call myself a rapper
Wouldn’t say that I’m a poet
But this side of my life was brought to me at my lowest
I’m looking up at the sky
Searching for the rain clouds cause the ground now is dry
Uh? I guess it was the tears that I cried
Found what I got to find so they stay in my eyes

Verse 3

My bodies beat up so much it stop feelin
My cuts are built up so much the healin
The wheels in my head are ripped up they stop pealin
And still I’ll spit on you like I’m on the top of a building, damn
It’s like donuts in the parkin lot
Sit back in amazement watch how my wallet drops
500, 600 down to a ten spot
looking at the rap charts hoping that my shit pops
and it’s all for you
with a “S” on my chest and I’m dressed in all blue
with a red speedo my sperm count is real low
but I’m like superman in the bed, OH
and I didn’t want to say it
the way that I can talk I can tell you so blatant
been fucked from the start think my heart needs maintenance
I cant even front yo I’m a mess I can’t fake it
