"Bobby Live CD Review"

Scrumptious vocals and divine backing music make this album a real musical treat
If you like your country with a dash of rock and Americana then look no further than American singer-songwriter Bobby Kirl, whose music will literally blow you away. With a voice that sounds a lot like Bruce Springsteen’s, but slightly heavier, Bobby’s new album will amaze and dazzle fans of all musical genres. The album opens with Donnie’s Song, which instantly rings of quality and excellent storytelling through magnificent lyrics. Bobby’s vocals are strong and filled with passion and class. Bobby’s vocal style is mesmerising and will soon hook listeners. Time follows on in a similar vein. This song has less musical backing making it more soothing on the listener’s ear. Again the vocals are striking. If I Am To Blame blends rock with country to create a wonderful sound. Bobby’s vocals are gorgeous to listen to. All The Things I Felt is a fast paced rocky song. At times listening to Bobby Kirl I am reminded of Steve Earle and this is one of those times. She Moves On is a slow song with a touch of Nirvana about the music and lyrical tone. Show It All To You is another charming slow song, which allows Bobby’s vocals to really shine. The final offering on this spectacular album is entitled Sane Thing. This is another fine lyrically driven song with a rousing melody. Sara Hunt - Maverick

"Nina Yuen"

“Bobby Kirls songs are at the same time contemporary and old-timey.  His finger-picked odes are beautifully written, and his ghostly murmurring voice is warm and stunning.”

"Todd Burge"

" Bobby Kirl seems to have come from out of nowhere recently and is quickly becoming
one of the few regional songwriters to keep an ear out for. His laid back voice is steady
and original. I'm looking forward to seeing what is next from this artist."

Bio

Bobby's music is sometimes personal, usually reflective, occasionally political though rarely radical, never imitated and always truthful. His musical roots are planted firmly in the singer songwriter genre. Writers like Foggerty and VAn Zant, Vedder and Cobain, Haggard and Nelson have influence him deeply, and his songs are reflective of the type of deep human spirit and intense personal emotion found in the kind of music guys like them produced. Bobby is also a musician with a rare perspective on life, love and the human spirit. He spent 11 years travelling the world with the U.S. Air Force where he learned that compassion and truth are the hallmarks of good people and not just determination and ambition which are so prevelent in the music business today. His songs often reflect his desire to share his passion rather than sell it and he displays that deep need in each and every performance. Playing over 90 shows a year this Singer Songwriter will have you reflecting on your idea of your fellow man and leave you with a desire to give something better to the world in which you live. Simply put; Bobby is in the business of sharing real music with real people and would love to share with you."
