Bobby Tessel tells jokes. Sets them up and then hits you with the punchline. Tessel's theme covers overcoming life's crippling events (such as the painful divorce he was involved with) and still being able to life your life with a smile for yourself and others.

Bobby Tessel is one of the few comics to have performed on both "The Late Show with David Letterman" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". What does that mean? Not much, but he's done it, have you?

Tessel's first time on stage was to a packed house at the Funnybone Comedy Club in Cincinnati, and he destroyed the room. Since that night, he hasn't looked back. "I love stand-up", Tessel says, "I love putting words in a sequence that no one in the entire world has ever thought of in order to get a desired response - laughter. I think that's cool."

Bobby also was a contestant on "Wheel of Fortune" that will go down as one of the all time great shows. Pat Sajak was so impressed he took off his jacket and gave it to Bobby.

Bobby attended Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. He then proceeded to utilize that education by pursuing a career in stand-up comedy.

Bobby loves playing sports. Although not able to play as much golf as he would like, he still has managed to accumulate three hole-in-ones. His current sports passion is Paddle Tennis where he was a finalist in the National Paddle Tennis Championships in Venice Beach, California.
