Chicago, born & raised. An englewood resident, blessed with family that wouldn't give up on me. We came from the south like alot people in the 50's & 60's. I grew up in the church and sang in the choir, yet was far from angelic. Problems with the law started the summer of 89 when I was arrested for carrying a gun. Losing my father soon after sent me into a tailspin of drugs, alcohol, & self destruction. My mom moved us further south hoping to change the direction my life was going and I met D. He was The first guy I knew that recorded his own music. He put me on a song he was doing and him and the guy recording it loved it. That's when I was convinced I had something. I always loved hiphop, KRS-1, Rakim, Slick Rick, but now I had a chance to make a name for myself. I've been in many crews and performed at every club and hole-n-wall from Indianapolis to the westside of Chicago. I've shared a stage with Busta rhymes, Slick Rick, Mos def, Talib Kweli, Juice, Shawna & Teefa, and a host of talent wit names you wouldn't recognize. I'm too realistic to be gangster and I'm too serious to be pop. I'm what the game needs
