We have one ten song LP released under a different band name: Mesamora...the tracks of which are available on i Tunes. We are currently in the process of recording a second album, which will hopefully be released in early 2010. A few of those songs are available at:

The Bob Floyd Band is a group that has risen from the ashes of two previous bands, the origins of which can be traced all the way back to Austin Anderson High School during the year 2004. While the band has embraced several different members over the years, the current lineup consists of 4 individuals who all oddly enough, graduated from Anderson High.

The band's influences are vast and it shows in their music. They draw from Classic Rock greats such as Hendrix to modern Electro Pop acts like MGMT and all manner of genres in between. Anyone from the likes of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, RHCP, Radiohead, and DMB can be heard in their music.

What sets the band apart from others is the sheer diversity of the music. If you check them out live, you are bound to hear Rock songs, Reggae songs, Country songs, Pop songs, Funk songs and so forth. The band doesn't try to confine itself to one style or sound, they just write what comes out naturally, and embrace whatever that turns out to be.

Their live show is not only exciting because of the diversity of music and stage presence the band brings each and every time, but also the improvisation and jamming that is a consistent part of every show. If you hear them play the same song 3 times live, it could sound different every time.

The band is currently gaining a hefty following in the Central and South Texas regions, and soon hopes to expand to the rest of Texas, the rest of the United States and the World!

They are also working on their first EP which is slated to be released in December 2010. Stay tuned!
