Bio

Bob has been writing music for 12 years or approximately 7 thick journals worth of music. He started writing when he first picked up the one string guitar he had when he was 7. His music maturity grew when, at 18, a member of his mom's church gave him a classical guitar. It was then his love affair with music solidified. He went on to write hundreds of songs for albums of his own and ones that will never see the light of day. He is a truly prolific artist, who has shared the stage with Michael Glabicki (Rusted Root,) Jimi Haha (Jimmie’s Chicken Shack), The Clarks, The Hillbillie Gypsies, Larry Keel, and The Recipe

In 2004, while running an open mic in his home town, he joined up with his first successful band Emmitt Kellar. Together they released two EP's and one full length album. In 2008, Emmitt Kellar had an amicable break up so they could all pursue their creative interests. Now Bob finds himself back to square one: Himself, his guitar, and a down right insatiable love for writing songs that get stuck in your head. In 2006, Bob started the very successful Stonewalls Acoustic Series designed to bring marquee artists to small venues so the fans could connect in a way that larger venues couldn’t offer. Bob currently resides in his native West Virginia, where he hosts an open mic every Sunday at Stonewalls Underground Pub (Shepherdstown, WV.) which is aired on on 89.7 FM WSHC. In addition, the last Sunday of every month in 2011 is Songwriters' Sunday at the open mic. You can check out the details on that here.
