"Bob Does Best"

This up and coming band delivers not only laughs but great music, with the combination of wit and talent that could be compared to Weird Al and Steven Lynch. Between the gifts of Jamis on bass, Sean on guitar, and Mark on drums, the audience is graced with the soulful vocal flair of Graham and Scott. To add to this already excellent mix is the energy and enthusiasm of the King of Excitement himself, Ed, playing such classic intruments as the cowbell and rhythm board (washer to most of us). Great comidic timing and music that is easy on the ears, who could ask for more? It would be a waste to miss them in action. -

"First Rate Comedy Act"

With all the entertainment choices readily available in the Los Angeles area, it can be difficult to locate a single act that will provide a guaranteed good time with a ton of laughs, musical chops and the ability to bring something new to the table. Look no further than Bob Knows Best! With the energy and reflex gags comparable to Tenacious D and Flight of the Conchords, along with the musicality and diversity of Weird Al and his live band, this band has IT. A great band to take a date to, or to have a night out with some friends. BKB never fails to deliver the belly laughs to boot. Musicians will enjoy the tight musical elements and lay-folks who love music will appreciate the sublime joy of songs like "Reach Around" and "The Shocker". Drink em' deep, they always go down smooth! -

"Bob Knows Best: Brining Back the Genre of Rock Comedy"

Rock Comedy: it's a genre that has been looking to make a comeback but needed just the right band to help it on its way back to the front line. Well look no further, Bob Knows Best is just the band that the doctor ordered. Most bands when they attempt to go for comedy one aspect of their music suffer; either the musicianship or the comedy. In recent years it has become rare to find a band that has been able to master both areas equally. With vocals from Scott Carri and Graham Scott that have a blend better than most choirs you have ever heard, a solid back bone delivered by Mark Adams on the drums, amazing leads by Sean Roberts, astounding bass lines delivered by Jamis Iovine, and Edmond Devore playing a mean washboard and bringing back the return of the cowbell; it's obvious that this lineup alone is a recipe for

The Bob Knows Best live show consists of not only musical genius but brilliant comedy that will leave you laughing for days. The lyrics from their songs are enough to stand on their own but in addition to a wonderful hour of musical genius the audience also received cleverly planned on comedy routines one of which included a drunken Santa Claus stumbling around the stage as the band performed "Santa Got DUI" as well as the routines of pure comic gold between every song. In addition to be comic geniuses, their wittiness can only be compared to that of Monty Python. And the songs themselves are unique and like nothing you have ever heard. They have a song called "Free Sex" that sounds like something straight out of the 20's era….. but I don't think you would hear anyone back from that time frame saying "you're mom's a whore." And a song that is a fan favorite is "The Reach Around." There aren't many bands brave enough to venture into such topics and that is a big part of what makes this band stand out. This band isn't afraid to push the envelope or cover any topic which is something that is needed in a time when the world seems so focus only on what is politically correct. And it would be impossible
to leave their show without feeling this overwhelming sensation of happiness and laughter, the perfect way to end a bad day at work. And for the ladies (and some of the men out there) this group of men isn't hard at all on the eyes either. In fact, I would even go as far to say that they have twenty different types of hotness going on.

If you haven't experienced a Bob Knows Best show you truly are missing out. But don't worry there is still a chance to catch them soon! January 27th Bob Knows Best will be playing at The Studio Suite at 48723 Whitsett Ave in Studio City and January 28th at Din Din at The Bamboo Terrace with Plastic Parachute in Costa Mesa. It won't be much longer before this band makes it to the top so take advantage of this opportunity to check them out for free! Also, you can keep track of other upcoming gigs at

So come down to the show, relax, grab some drinks and as the song goes, "why don't you go and have yourself some free sex?"

Bob Knows Best ... Gets Their Hair Did

Bands come and go, but memorable music lasts forever. We all have special songs that define moments in our lives. We’ve heard the ones that made us cry, the ones that take us back to our youth, the ones that make us remember that love we lost or remind us why we fell in love. But the songs that truly stand out are the ones that make us laugh. For Bob Knows Best, it’s about capturing the humor in our everyday lives and to stir the inner sprit with a the things we have always thought about saying but have dare to mention them even among our closest friends.

Brought together in Covina, California Bob Knows Bests’ music career began in 2003 but it wasn’t until 2005 that the band got a shot in the arm and began to take flight. The bands original songs have earned them comparisons to Weird Al Yankovic, Spike Jones, Tenacious D, and Flight of the Conchords.

Bob Knows Best have begun to pay their dues by performing at local venues all over Southern California, such as the House of Blues, Hogue Barmichaels, The Anarchy Library, The Stardust, The Gypsy Lounge and Club Good Hurt. At every show they gain more and more fans with their theatrical style performances. This is possible with Co-Lead vocalists Scott Carri and Graham Scott leading the Sextet. Drummer Mark Adams and bassist Jamis Iovine form a tight rhythm section which allows guitarist Sean Roberts to work his magic across the fretboard and to add the spice to the mix is percussionist Ed Devore.

The foundation of their first CD Bob Knows Best...Gets Their Hair Did, released September 2006, is to expose the band's diversity in their musical tastes. Bob Knows Best can take you to the funk of the 70's, the vaudevillian days of 1910, give you the country flavor of yesteryear and then bring you back to the rock sounds of today.

The band is currently performing locally throughout the Southern California basin at various venues and comedy clubs to spread the word that there’s a new sheriff in town that wants to tickle your funny bone.
