Review - Folksy pop with crafty blues and roots rock bleeding through the veneer throws Bob Kramer in the spotlight. His lyrics are fun and genuine. The album spawns strategic musical twists as ?Help Me Sing My Song? punctuates roots rock with the sounds of the Delta blues and backwoods folk music. Surrounding himself with a bunch of seasoned veterans only makes this album that much more special. While he?s not writing tremendous folk music, he?s hard at work writing; his published book ?Uncommon Footsteps? is a 12-year journey through black and white photographs and encouraging words from people, who have suffered homelessness, were disabled or survived cancer, AIDS, and incest. Performing a unique blend of jazz, folk, rock and blues, Beverly-based, rootsy, rockin & blue, the Bob Kramer Trio delivers high-spirited and enthusiastic performances every time they play. Their lively sets are extensive with songs for any age that range from the blues of the Delta to the classic to the Jazz of the streets to their own tasty originals. The Bob Kramer Trio is acoustic and also performs as a 5 piece electric band with percussionist and organ.
