Bob Oldfield

Bob was born in Liverpool, U.K. and grew up with the excitement and buzz of the Beatles all around him. It was natural, almost, that he should pick up a guitar and learn to play. His musical journey has taken him through original and cover bands playing guitar, bass and drums, though not all at the same time! Bob's love of the singer/songwriter genre however has brought him to spread his wings and embark on a solo venture which he is very excited about. His influences in the world of acoustic music are James Taylor, Bruce Cockburn, Neil Young, Cat Stevens and Bryn Haworth as well as the wonderful delta bluesmen of long ago!
