I just finished listening to the album and I am speechless it was wonderful. I like the Buffet like feel, and the originality of the songs. I can't say enough about it other than this is a must have album.

Bob Peck was absolutely great to work with! I hired him to perform at our wedding on 6/16/07. He was professional and was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I were both extremely pleased and felt that he added alot to our reception. Bob Peck is very talented and fun!

The Cape’s musicians are as varied as the main streets of Sandwich, Hyannis and Chatham. Whether you like classic British Invasion pop, soothing piano lullabies or aggressively edgy rock, there’s a CD for you.

“Wind In My Sails,” Bob Peck & Smitty (www.bobpeckmusic.com)
Who he is: Peck is an Eastham-based singer-songwriter who performs solo, as part of a duo (with bass player Bob “Smitty” Smith) and with the group Big Fish.
What he sounds like: A musical postcard from Cape Cod. Peck favors the acoustic, nostalgic side of Jimmy Buffett. As he writes in the liner notes, “Give me my guitar, my dog Shelby and a sailboat balanced on the wind, and I’m happy. Give me a place to sing about it to others, and I’m in heaven.”

Bio
Singer, songwriter and guitarist Peck, who puts his own brand on Buffet tunes and other covers, also offers up original music inspired by years of living and working on Cape Cod.
My experiences with the ocean, its life forms and the people of the Cape, are a large part of who I am, says Peck, who has taught sailing and scuba diving for years. Its as if the sounds of the Cape have become background music in my ears. Give me my guitar, my dog Shelby, and a sailboat balanced on the wind, and Im happy. Give me a place to sing about it to others and Im in heaven.
Peck performs solo, as a member of the popular group Big Fish, and as part of a duo with longtime friend and bass guitar player Bob Smith.
Some of my favorite times have been when I was singing and playing guitar, Peck says. I cannot remember a time when music wasnt a part of my life. I cut my musical teeth on blues and rock when I was a teen-ager and started a group called Three Penny Opera. I went to sleep playing Sunshine of My Love and woke up playing The House of the Rising Sun.
Peck especially enjoys performing My Friend, My Dog, a song he wrote about his beloved Golden Retriever-Chow while sitting on First Encounter Beach in Eastham, Pecks hometown.
Other original songs that are regularly part of his sets include: Summer Sun, Hidden Path, Ill Sail, Beach In My Toes and Whales Around The Bend. Production on Pecks first CD Wind In My Sails is just complete.
