Lyrics

White Mosquito

Written By: J. Earley

Here I snort my white mosquito
Taking charge and living large
I am the slum of the human race
So disgraced as the powder numbs my face
Take a trip, my acid trip
One more way to escape the pain
Shoot a grin at my sin
Because I know my life’s a shame

Take my white mosquito
Is it all a dream?
Smoke my mind to bend the truth
Of a past that’s killing me

Please can you hear me
Screaming out for help
Spinning circles cloud my mind
While my heart bleeds all the time

Take a trip, my acid trip
One more way to escape the pain
Twisting lines with I can hide
From the hell that is my brain

Take my white mosquito
Is it all a dream?
Smoke my mind to bend the truth
Of a past that’s killing me

Who is righteous?
Am I righteous?
Who is righteous?
For we’re all dead

Take my white mosquito
Is it all a dream?
Smoke my mind to bend the truth
Of a past that’s killing me

Take my white mosquito
Pass the mirror please
Wipe my eyes while my life dies
In the shadow of my disease

Last Train to Hollywood

Written By: J. Earley

What’s wrong with wanting to feel the light?
Will it shine on me no more?
Walk the line I fear to tread and see the stars above my head
And wonder if it all was worth it all.
Why am I afraid to try to and fight for what is mine
And ask forgiveness from what I meant to say
That's one more answer I can’t choose and one more question that brings the blues
Just one more reason to take it all away

Look in the mirror. What do I see I see myself staring back at me
Or is it just the pleasures of a crowded mind
And everybody wants to see everything that I can be
But the truth is I can’t see without her by my side

One long night is all it takes
To realize you’re all alone
And the cold, cold wind that pierced your skin
Let’s you know you’re not at home
So you go down to the station
Where you died once before
And take the last train to Hollywood
To try and save your soul

She was all that was good to me and all that was my misery
A two face little fantasy that's a truth to her name
Everybody knows my case and thinks that I’m a human waste
For searching for the answers to make me feel ok

One long night is all it takes
To realize you’re all alone
And the cold, cold wind that pierced your skin
Let’s you know you’re not at home
So you go down to the station
Where you died once before
And take the last train to Hollywood
To try and save your soul

Give me peace so I can live

Bleached by the Sun

Written By: J. Earley, C. Hernandez

People often wonder where I have gone
The truth is I never left, I’ve just been alone
I cry myself to sleep in my rocking chair
To the beat of your footsteps walking away from here

You taught me everything that my heart knew it should know
Then a simple twist of fate dealt the final blow
The lessons learned were never stern and the meant the world to me
But the price of happiness is to know it’s all a dream

Holding on, feeling done
Bleached by the sun

Why does life always seem funny when you don’t have a home?
To think you know another’s soul when you don’t know your own
The more the distance between, the more I feel abused
But brick by brick I’ll pave the way back to you

Breaking up, growing numb
Bleached by the sun

I wanna run I wanna hide I wanna feel like I’m hungry inside with the pleasures of a world that I cannot define, and a soul that's real to the eyes.
I hate this place and your face and I wish that it was all erased but what’s the use when you know that you can’t escape all the lies that a told right to your face.
Why can’t I feel like I am loved?
Why can’t I fly high above the world to touch the sun and feel alive instead of falling out of the big blue sky?
This lonesome highway drags me down.
When will I ever stand my ground?
The more the distance, the more abused, but brick by brick I’ll pave back to you.
