Bodega Cats is a group that was formed out of the merging of two projects, one sampled-based jazz, and the other salsa. With an often bilingual dual-vocal style, Bodega Cats managed to cultivate interest in the states as well as Latin America. Starting out as a duo, they expanded to a full band with a rotating lineup of musicians. Their debut EP "Blunts From The Deli", managed to land them on the radar of several independent labels. Signing with Stonesthrow-with a roster consisting of underground legends like J Dilla and Madvillain, they went on tour with Knxwldge. Shortly after began work on their forthcoming debut album-"Baconeggncheese".
