This is the soundtrack to my life, almost word for word. This MC put it down for all of us out on the grind trying to come up in the game. He couldn't have done a better job describing the struggle people are going through, these are the very same problems the media wants to turn it's shoulder to. If you can't relate, this song helps you understand steet life, and conveys the message that if you use your mind you can rise above it. This MC deserves a mainstream deal because he spits the truth and doesn't sugar coat day to day life in the city. The beat fits the powerful message of the song, I liked it alot.

BORN IN CHI-TOWN, RAISED IN GARY IN, CURRENTLY LIVING IN WASHINGTON D.C. AREA .......ROBERT A.K.A. B.O.E. BEGAN PIANO INSTRUCTION AT THE AGE SEVEN, AND REALIIZED EARLY ON, THAT HE POSSESSED A MUSICAL GIFT. AFTER WINNING TALENT SHOWS, AND PERFORMING AT DIFFERENT VENUES, B.O.E. KNEW HE WANTED TO BECOME AN ENTERTAINER. HE BEGAN TO TAKE HIS MUSIC VERY SERIOUSLY, AND POURED HIS HEART, SOUL AND TALENT FOR WRITING, INTO ALL OF HIS MUSIC. AFTER MUCH HARD WORK AND STAYING COMMITTED TO WHAT HE KNEW WAS INSIDE OF HIM HE COMPLETED THE ALBUM, "WHAT IT IS".
