BOGUS

Bogus è un progetto elettronico sperimentale che esplora e oltrepassa i confini della musica digitale. Un lavoro che presenta una chiara influenza dell'elettronica di avanguardia. Domenico Vitolo e Giancarlo Aquilonia hanno cominciato a dedicarsi al sound “Electro” nel 2002, stanchi di “piegarsi” alle richieste commerciali dei circuiti in cui si esibivano. I Bogus improvvisano e registrano in presa diretta per poi trasferire il materiale sul computer e sottoporlo ad un processo di re-editing. Esplorano le sonorità dei synth digitali accostando ad essi groove di batteria pulita ed elaborano composizioni giocando con strumenti e suoni. Un'influenza importante per i due è rappresentata dalla cultura musicale che non ha mai avuto nessun limite di ascolto.
Le live performance dei Bogus sono accompagnate da immagini inedite proiettate dal Vj Stillet dando vita ad una forma organica e coinvolgente, in continuo cambiamento.

Bogus is an experimental electronic project which explore and goes beyond the limit of digital music.
A work that clearly presents an influence of avant-garde electronic sound.
Domenico Vitolo e Giancarlo Aquilonia started dedicating to the "Electric" sound in 2002, tired of giving in to the popular requirements of the venues where they used to perfom.
Bogus jam and record live to then transfer all the material on the computer that would then undergo a process of re-editing.
They explore the sounds of digital synthesiser drawing alongside drum clean sounds and making compositions playing with instruments and sounds.
An important influence for them is represented by a music culture that has never had any limits.
Bogus live performances are supported by images created and projected by Vj Stillet making an harmonious and entertaining act that keeps on changing.
