Playing the music of Widespread Panic. You could close your eyes and barely be able to tell the difference between the Weevil and the "classic" WSP lineup!!

Biography

Bolweevil was formed in Chapel Hill in 1999 comprised of several current and
former UNC-Chapel Hill student musicians. Originally getting together to jam
on Widespread Panic, Phish, and Grateful Dead tunes, The Weevil found that
there was a strong chemistry for Widespread Panic's music within the band.
The guys found their audiences all over the Southeast begging for Widespread
Panic tunes & they found themselves packing clubs and fraternity parties
every weekend.

Following up a sold out performance at the Pour House Music Hall on November
4 2005, the band returns for a second helping of the best music fans Raleigh
has to offer.
Some highlights from the 2005 reunion include Chilly Water>Jack>Chilly
Water, Surprise Valley>Arleen, Conrad, Hatfield and Love Tractor. The band
looks forward to seeing familiar faces as well as many new ones every
performance.

"Seeing them play again is great. They haven't missed a beat and are
clearly having a blast. I remember looking around at the Pour House show in
November 2005 and seeing people shaking their heads grinning ear to ear.
People come to hear old school panic guitar licks, percussion and vocals.
They're walking away satisfied," says Andy Gastmeyer a long-time Bolweevil
fan.

The members of the band include Ken Miller on lead guitar and vocals, Holton
Wilkerson on rhythm guitar and vocals, Ted Sampson on keyboards, Matt Levine
on bass, Tommy Fowler on drums and backing vocals and the newest Weevil
member, JT Poe on percussion. JT is an experienced musician who has also
spent time on the road with Steve Winwood as a drum tech and is currently
his monitor engineer.

Look for the band to continue playing shows around North Carolina and
perhaps further. The vibe within the band is as strong as the sound and
creates the backbone for the Weevil. Relax and enjoy.
