Still working on that hot first release.

Bomber Spur, a five piece Americana band was born in a small carriage house off the bricks of Camp Bowie in west Fort Worth in 2010.  Taking their name from an abandoned rail line that fed Carswell AFB the bomb, some members of the band started scheduling shows.  Originally covering Grateful Dead songs, Nathan Brown (bass) and Stephen Bunten (vocals, guitar) began writing original material with more of an slant leading to the exodus of the other charter members.   Over time, a catalog of quality songs was established and Brown revealed himself to be a talented arranger and Bunten showed himself to be a clever lyricist.  During this period, the band was playing in local venues and honky tonks throughout DFW with a band that had something of a revolving door.  Eventually, in early 2015, the lineup solidified with Matthew McDermott (drums), Denny Crudden (lead guitar), and Kerry "Texino" Goines (pedal steel).  The modern Bomber Spur was born and continues to entertain and push the creative envelope on what Americana music can be.
