Crashing onto the shores of the United States is a brand new compilation that is sure to turn some heads. Featuring a great mix of indies rock and rap music, all Japanese fans are sure to find some favorite tracks. Released by N20 Records, this compilation album is sure to be successful among fans in the states. The album features six bands. Below I will comment on the performance of each band.
The album has a dynamite start with the raw rock song "Exciter" by Bomb Factory. Featuring a vast array of rhythms, this complex song keeps your attention and will quickly have you singing along. It has just some of the few highlights that Bomb Factory continues to demonstrate throughout the album with the tracks "Discord" and "All the Way". The energy that the band brings to their songs is incredible and fans will be very appreciative to know that their lyrics are in English, making it easy to follow along. Each tune is musically complex and unique in its own sense, presenting Bomb Factory in a wonderful, stylistic fashion! - J-Music Ignited

Bio
Formed in 1991 by brothers JUN-YA and KAZUYA together with bandmates from their previous gigs, JOE and SHIRA, the band is still rocking with its original four members. Its hard-edge rush and power together with its heavy but melodic lines make their sound a one-of-kind original and are well supported not only in their home land, but also from fans and fellow bands in Europe where they have toured extensively as well as from fans in the United States.
After releasing an album by themselves in 1995 they move on to establish MONSTAR RECORDS, from which they have released 6 singles and 8 albums to date. They supported their 1999 12 inch release with a full blown European tour which ended up landing them a spot as opening act for BAD RELIGIONs Japan tour in 2000. The tracks EXCITER and DEADLY SILENCE BEACH were used as theme songs in the Play Station 2 game DEAD OR ALIVE, making their name known throughout the world.
Consecutive European tours in 2003 and 2004 not only landed them a cover spot on the French magazine FANZINE but also a slot as headliners for summer festivals, bringing several thousand European fans to their feet. The French label MHP went on to release their album titled DISCORD.
The year 2006 was BOMB FACTORYs 15th anniversary and saw them moving to the major scene with their release of the album SOCIAL SUICIDE. This album was followed by the release of the DVD titled FIFTEENTH, featuring archive footage from their past live performances.
High demand prompted them to release their first ever greatest hits album in 2007 and their 2008 tour in support of this album will once again take them through the streets of Japan, with the final show of the tour already being sold out! Their scheduled release of an album in the US later this year only shows that they have no intent of stopping where they are! With the new US label and distribution by Koch Inc, Bomb Factory's new album "Moshing Through Tokyo" will finally see US fans in stores nationwide 8/19/08.
SOUND
BOMB FACTORYs sound consists of aggressive guitar riffs inspired from the 80s Punk/Hard Core scene. But the added essence of New Wave and Heavy Metal gives them the variety that they have. Their band ensemble creates a low and heavy groove whereas their heavy distorted drives and crystal clear tones is a contrast in itself. Their sentimental and melodic sound as well as their beautiful harmonic voclas is what separates them from the other loud bands.
