Bonafide

Rising Rap Artist BONAFIDE was born on September 21st, 1986 in the desert city of Kuwait , after living there for approximately 5 years, he and his family escaped the war ravished country at the height of the gulf-war to nearby Jordan where they lived for 3 years before moving once again overseas to Halifax, Nova Scotia in hopes of better life oppurtunites. It is there where he was introduced to hip-hop cultures increasingly popular rap music at the age of 10 by his brothers who bought a bag of cassettes from a friend that included mostly westcoast rappers such as Tupac Shakur ,Snoop Dogg, Westside Connection, Too Short, Xzibit and E-40 amongst others. By age 16, Already having a love for poetry, he started writing and recording his own songs soon after moving to Hamilton, Ontario, better known as Steel City. After gaining steady recognition over the years, Bonafide is now preparing the release of the highly-awaited Hype Em Up The Street Album which will be released early 2009
