Once again the world of music is redefined with the formation of the band Bone Dry. A hard rock band with diverse backgrounds and influences, Bone Dry brings a unique flavor to the “Seattle sound”. Like their predecessors before them, the group is more about music than image.
As is apparent on their 2003 demo CD, Bone Dry mixes smooth musicianship with raw emotion. This dynamic group breaks down the barriers of the hum drum, run of the mill mainstream music scene to provide their audience with a taste of something different, just as bands like The Doors, Guns N’ Roses, and Nirvana did before them. The band went back into the studio in March 2004 to follow up on their debut by laying down four more tracks and building on the foundation of originals. The new music represents a harder, grittier edge of the bands musical influences.
After the studio, Bone Dry is hitting the club scene and bringing the music to the people. They have been working hard with local promoters to play venues with the band opening certain dates, and headlining others. Presently shopping for representation, the band is open to discussion on the matter.
Formed in the suburbs of Seattle in August 2003, the band featuring Garrett Whitney on vocals and rhythm guitar, Mike Sundstrom on bass, Jarratt VanDyke on drums, and Chuck Alexander on lead guitar, present stories of real life through refreshing melodies and a biting dark side.
In their short existence the band has acquired a loyal following that is destined to grow and prosper. Bone Dry will continue to be a band on the rise leaving a deep impact on anyone who encounters the music.
