BONEFIDE

BONEFIDE was formed in the Spring of 2009. Long time friends Mike Soga(Bass Guitar) and Bep Donadeo (Vocals and Guitar) had the idea to form an elite ensemble with 2 key elements killer vocals and a top notch horn section. Mike and Bep are both veteran musicians playing in a wide range of bands from blues and rock to latin and jam. Mike enlisted 2-Bad, Monkeybone, and T-bone to form the horn section.Bep invited his friend Sneaky Pete to help out on vocals and guitar. They rounded out the ensemble with Louisiana's own Gumbo Johnson on drums. The result was startling even to the founders. The band got their first gig as the result of a Monday Night open mic jam at the infamous Long Branch haunt The Brighton Bar. " Monkeybone booked us at the Clauddaugh in The Highlands before we had even had a full rehearsal" confides Sneaky. "After we threw that first gig together in a week and blew the doors off the place,we knew we had something special" says Bep. Looking to take the area by storm, Bonefide has cut a Live demo and is now available for bookings up and down the East Coast. They are working hard and constantly expanding their set lists.
