BONEHOUSE
The Beginning
Bonehouse formed early 2008 in Perth, Western Australia – The name Bonehouse originated from a line believed to be sung in the song ‘Solid Gold Hell’ written by Kim Salmon and performed by the seminal Perth pub rock outfit, The Scientists. Bonehouse is comprised of members from now defunct Perth bands; Scrambler (unreleased album – Dancing Boots is Dead) and The Colonial Banquet (Double Ep – Fakehorse/Highhorse) – The music produced by Bonehouse can best be described as ‘The Thinking Persons Pub Rock’.
The Present
Since forming, Bonehouse have become members of the Fremantle Fly by Night Musicians Club, where they reside and rehearse on a weekly basis – The band recorded their first ‘self titled’ Ep at Cellar Sessions in North Perth - On the 4th of July 2008, Bonehouse released their self titled Ep to a full house (at capacity) at the Hyde Park Hotel, Perth Western Australia – The launch was a triple Ep release featuring local Perth acts, The Trevallys and Mongrel Country, with support from the Moonlight Wranglers.
The Future
Bonehouse are currently unsigned and independently managed and continue to gig regularly throughout Perth’s live music venues – The Band are currently organising regional tours throughout Western Australia’s South West and Goldfield regions – With the experience of touring, Bonehouse will source funding in an effort to tour nationwide – Touring Nationally, Bonehouse hope to take their music to a wider audience in an effort to generate a larger and stronger fan base – If you would like to contact Bonehouse please call Brocknroll on 0431 969 049 0r via the contact details provide at the top of the page - Shanks...
