The best kept secret in music

"Long known for their ability to weave acoustic and electric into a root style that bridges the gap between jam rock and blues, Boney Fingers has won the hearts of many fans. While instrumental is the obvious flavor of the day, stellar vocals arrangements keep this band off the slippery slope of degeneration that many jam bands slide down. Top-notch percussion and all around musicianship abounds for a show that caters to a range of tastes. Slip on those dancing shoes and catch the groove. - SHEPHERD EXPRESS

"Riding high on those highway blues, the sure-fire boogie of Wisconsin's own Boney Fingers travels from party tunes to space jams, spinning tales on this self-titled debut...After another interstellar pickin' and grinnin' session bubbles up, there's no doubt that cosmic forces and blue collar philosophies are being mixed into a powerful brew." - Maximum Ink Music Magazine

"The disc reveals the deep grooves the Dead left on the imagination of Boney Fingers' songwriters. Echoes of electric blues and Chuck Berry are in their chromosomes, along with the limber-legged funky rhythms and Americana textures that characterized the Dead's music." - Shepherd Express

"Their self-titled release Boney Fingers was a nice surprise. Tracks such as "Madison Moonlight" and "Kind Factory" work well. Good percussion arrangements and doses of saxophone provide strong moments." - City Edition

"Boney Fingers' Orbitson adds vocals to finely tuned instrumentals and largely succeed in energizing a mix of country blues, giddyup rock, and Spanish frills. Musicianship is a premium and closely woven solos knit a strong fabric of acoustic and electric roots music." - Maximum Ink Music Magazine
