Bonnie Casey is an exuberant young artist who delivers passion through her music. Using music as a communication tool, she hones in on her Jamaican heritage and relates to her audience by putting her heart and soul into each song. She draws her influence from such artists as: Etta James and Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs and Alton Ellis which have contributed immensely to her unique vocal style. She has been musically inclined since a very young age; starting to shine at the tender age of 5. Bonnie has graced local Ontario stages such as: The Boathouse, The Flying Dog, Wally's tavern, and more recently, The Rose and Crown. Her most recent showcase was at the 2009 Miss World Canada competition where she was a national finalist. Her upcoming performances
and appearances include: a Charity Trust show being sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada with all proceeds going toward United Way charity trust, and a guest appearance on 88.3 CJIQ fm. Bonnie Focuses on lovers rock and rocksteady rhythms in the always evolving genre of reggae music. Her fresh songwriting approach, along with a smooth vocal style, give listeners that "wow" factor.She is working with Slamm Productions under the guiding eye of production great Sam Weller. []
This artistic sensation is currently setting her debut album in motion and anticipates a 2010 arrival date.
