Boo and Boo Too

Boo and Boo Too

Noise-obsessed, dark, but ultimately poppy, Boo and Boo Too play indie rock buried beneath the squall of Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine, combined with the loose abandon of Pavement, all cast under a shroud of transcendental doom la Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

Still in its infancy, Boo and Boo Too has survived various line-up changes and incarnations in the two years since its formation. Now solidified as a six-piece, the band has emerged with its intense, noisy indie rock as a major fixture in the music scene of Lawrence, KS, embarking on tours throughout the midwest and sharing the stage with bands such as Gang Gang Dance, Matt and Kim, Ocrilim, Meneguar, Broken Social Scene, Death Cab for Cutie, The Black Angels, Bound Stems, Rahim, Dosh, Magnolia Electric Co., Parts & Labor, Girl Talk, and Neil Hamburger. The band's debut EP was released in May 2007 via Ironpaw Records, and a full-length is slated to follow in Summer of 2008.
