Rising out of the streets of Charlotte North Carolina's Westside, Brandon Berry., better known by his stage name , Booda Haze , came on the scene with energetic club bangers and clever punchlines, turning himself into a local hero with a series of mixtapes before breaking in 2014. Booda debuted in 2012 with F#!@ booda mixtape series, then releases Jihad in 2017 which was received with national acclaim. Booda's signature raspy Carolina drawl mixed with classic lyrical wordplay distinguishes him from most rappers and has led him to opening for star rappers like T.I., Young Dro, lil pump, and 2 chainz
