Booga Bradshaw (formerly known as Gee Q) is an independent Israelite hip-hop recording artist based in Texas. Born in Lubbock and raised in the tiny town of Amherst, TX, Boog has always been a student of all aspects of music, from groovin' instrumentals to meaningful lyrics. Down home blues and jazz had a huge influence on Boog growing up, before eventually moving more towards hip-hop and Neo Soul. After graduating high school, Booga Bradshaw went on to college where he played NCAA Division II basketball .
A few years passing, Boog found himself making beats in his spare time with his roommates and close friends. Eventually, after recording a few freestyles and honing in on his beat making skills, he decided to officially focus on his own musical endeavors.
As he perfects his craft, Booga Bradshaw has kicked down many doors in the music industry, so far releasing two solid mixtapes (Seredipity-2014, Soul Food- 2015), a killer bar for bar 5 song EP "Fishing With No Hooks" in early 2016, a hot new single "The Golds"(April 2016) featuring down South phenom Kay B Brown of Chattanooga, TN. And most recently his most #Focused project "University" featuring the Radio hit "On My Own" released late 2016.
Some of his more notable appearances include performing as the supporting act for Maybach Music Group recording artist Wale (Lubbock, TX; 2016), several multi-genre music festivals in Texas and New Mexico including West Texas Music Fest w/ Eternal of Wu Tang Clan (Lubbock, TX; 2014),the Feel the Vibe Music Festivals I & II (Portales, NM;2015/16), Roosevelt County Music Fest (Roosevelt County, NM; 2016), and Texas Tech's annual Low Hoop Festival w/ Devin the Dude & Torey Lanez (Lubbock, TX; 2016). Booga Bradshaw has also made numerous appearances on The Brennon Cole Show on KTXT-FM 88.1 The Raider in Lubbock. Boog was also invited to KJTV Fox34 to be interviewed for the new show "Hub City Hot Music" as well as performing live on Fox 34's Good Day Lubbock.
