Bio
Boogieman has always been a very gifted writer. He wrote songs for various people. Born Cartez Daniels to a family of three, Boogieman realized how gifted he was after serving a year in the Cook County Jail, Division 5 is where all the magic happened. He wrote spiritual songs, R&B and Hip Hop. Boogieman looked up to rappers like Tupac, Ja Rule, Master P, 50 Cent, Lil' Wayne, Young Jeezy, T.I. & Jay-Z. Born February 21, 1983, at county hospital. Raised in the same hood as Willie Lord, Vice Lors King of Kings. Pierre Mahoney, Bobby Gore, Madee, which is known as Holy City. Boogieman moved to Rockford in '99, moved back to Chicago for another year, caught another case which landed him in prison for the first time. In Jail Boogieman wrote over 300 songs throughout his incarceration. By 2003 he was back at it trying to put this music out. He hooked up with Man & Big D and started his first rap group Ill-Noize, recorded one album, but Boogieman wanted to take it further. He then recorded 2 hit albums, "Judged by 12, Carried by 6" & "My Brothers Keeper". Boogieman is still at work, he's now working on another group project known as the new Black Mob. Boogieman has produced 2 new videos this year, directed by Roc Williams. Boogieman also did songs with Bad Boy South's Jody Breeze, D-Tour, Fly Pat, Da Menace, Montana The Message, 4 Pound, & Bam G. He has worked closely with superproducer David "Chi" Pettee AKA "28 Grams". "When I met I knew I was on my way to the top." Boogieman says in an interview with UV Multimedia. Boogieman has certainly made his mark as an artist and a writer. Look for more hit street albums in the future. EAB Forever.
