Book Fair is a band built on hope and brotherhood. Through hardship and life lessons nobody should ever have to go through, Jon Delvaux has taken his experiences, love, loss and grief to craft songs detailing his journey toward redemption. Delvaux left NY a broken soul and found his way back on the straight and narrow in Phoenix, a city named for a creature that fittingly rose from the ashes.
Delvaux joined up with other local musicians Michael Goldberg, Brandon Bush and Jeremy Piccirillo and released a 6 song EP, Gloria Victis, in September 2009. Now, recording another EP, Book Fair performs throughout the AZ Valley.
Book Fair is a mix of talent that combines years of experience and musical influences to craft music described as a mix of the Beatles, Saves The Day, Ben Folds Five and more. From the classic sound of the Wurlitzer organ, to the heavy guitar riffs of others, the band paints a canvas that tells the emotional story of finding one’s self.
