MENTAL BLOCK

Mental Block was also know as A.P.R. (Atlanta Party Rockers) when they first came onto the scene as one of the hottest dance groups in Atlanta. They let their love of dancing take them to places all over the country. After opening shows, with just dancing, people always asked.. "can you sing or rap?" With the new addition of Mel (aka) Melicious the brother duo decided that the next step was to take their love of entertaining to the next level. They have been influenced by all kinds of music. (dance, pop and rock). Growing up to groups like BON- JOVI, 311, Art of Noise, RUN-DMC & N.W.A. Then, add the infulence of what is now crunk music. What you get with a mix like that is a whole new sound that is rap/alternative. Mental Block is the leader of the new sound that will keep you dancing and bobbin your head track after track. Mental Block has perfomed on the same stage with acts such as: OutKast, Sean Kingston, Chingy, and also on the T.V. shows: Under-Ground Talent Mart (local), Showtime At The Apollo, and MTV Spring-Break...with more to come.
