"BOO SIGNS JOINT VENTURE LABEL DEAL WITH 404 MUSIC NETWORK, INC. TO DISTRIBUTE HIS FIRST SOLO RELEASE, “48 MINTUES”"

ATLANTA, GA -- (January 15, 2008) – 404 Music Network, Inc. proudly announces that it has signed a joint venture label deal with Mob Boss Entertainment to release and distribute the solo album of the rapper, Boo, formerly of the duo Boo & Gotti. “48 Minutes” will be Boo’s first solo effort since his release from Cash Money Records.

Although his initial success was the result of his collaborations with more established artists such as R. Kelly, Jay-Z, Noriega, Camron, Jermain Dupri, Ja Rule, and Big Tymers, Boo achieved commercial recognition in his own right after releasing the album “Perfect Timing” with the duo Boo & Gotti for Cash Money Records in 2003. Both the album and the single, “Ain’t It Man” featuring Lil’ Wayne were hits with fans and critics alike. However, creative differences with Cash Money Records led him to seek his release from his recording contract. In addition to writing and recording “48 Minutes,” Boo formed his own label, Mob Boss Entertainment.

Easton is widely known in the music industry as the co-founder of Ichiban Records Incorporated, which was one of the largest independent labels in the industry, and the first major independent international record company based out of Atlanta. She has worked with Gold and Platinum selling artists such as Clarence Carter, Curtis Mayfield, 95 South, Vanilla Ice, Ben E. King, Francine Reed, and many more. After selling her shares in Ichiban, Easton became President and C.E.O. of 404 Music Network, Inc. in 1998.

In describing the single, Boo states, “‘Whateva U Like’ is talking more to the ladies. I can say that’s what I rap for, what I do music for. When you go to the shows, the girls are going to be front and center, going wild. They go buy the record and support it. Not to take away from the fellas or whatever because I do have a mixture of things on my album as far as street records.”

Bio

Born and raised on the Westside of Chicago, music sort of found Boo. In the summer of 1999, while hanging with a few close friends at a downtown McDonalds, Boo bumped into R. Kelly, and the rest is history. He was later featured on R. Kelly's multi-platinum selling album R. on the hit single "We Ride" featuring Jay-Z, Noriega, and Camron. Shortly after, Boo was featured on R. Kelly's multi-platinum selling album, TP2.com on the chart topping smash hits "I Wish" remix, "Fiesta", and the "Fiesta" Remix featuring Jay-Z.

That was only the beginning. His talents and unique Chi-Town style gained the attention of Jermaine Dupri and he was later featured on the hit single "Get Some" on the platinum selling album "Instructions". He was also featured on Ja Rule's hit single “World Wide Gangstas” from the very successful "Pain is Love" album. Boo was rising fast into the business, and he caught the attention of Cash Money Records. In 2001, they offered him a deal and he accepted.

Soon afterward he was featured on the smash single "Oh Yeah" from the platinum selling “Big Tymers’” Album "Hood Rich". Reflecting back on all his success, he realizes that he wanted to put out his own album, but not without the help of a close friend. In 2003, the dynamic duo Boo & Gotti was formed and with it came the hit single "Ain’t It Man" featuring “Lil’ Wayne” from the critically acclaimed debut album "Perfect Timing" of 2004. Although the record was a hit, due to creative differences Boo requested to be released from his contract with Cash Money. To his surprise, he had become a successful music artist.

"My biggest and best accomplishment is all the influential people I have been blessed to work with, and I know there are many more to come. Music was something that I never really could see myself having great passion for, but for the love of music is why I do it. " -Boo

After his release from Cash Money, he took the opportunity to work on his solo album. He is now signed to 404 Music Network and will continue to run his record label Mob Boss entertainment. Boo's solo album is scheduled for release in early 2008
