Boombox Orchestra has made it its mission to work on being as versatile as possible, and to build its particular boombox sound on the whole of music as possible, inespecially the groove musics. Boombox has dwelled in Santa Barbara for the last 4 yrs destroying competition, having won two Independent Santa Barbara battle of the bands and two University Battles, getting to open for TI at UCSB's Extravaganza 07 and Ludacris at Extravaganza 09, we have also opened for The Pharcyde, legendary Sugar Hill Gang, Mack 10 and Glasses Malone, Afroman, and Evidence of Dilated Peoples. Boombox has traded members several times in a tireless effort to find the most powerful and versatile members to uphold this young bands legacy, currently in its third and most threatning of incarnations, with the band having an ongoing collaboration with the MC group of 4, the Poetic Malfunction, and Doobie reggae Mc of the band Fuzzy Logic, Boombox works tirely to present Incredible stage shows that works to define all the musics of a true 21st century band.
