Now, check the resume: a new “under-the-radar artist” with a single that’s seriously in demand. He’s one of the hardest in the business and even without a billboard top-100 hit single, he’s already backed by one of the hottest clothing lines in the nation - - Palmieri Jeans. Put it all together and what do you have? An artist ready to present his lyrical gift to the world with a force, business-minded hustle and grind that could only have been cultivated in the streets of Philadelphia, PA. A talent, that’s ready to blow. Yeah, if you don’t know… The name is “Boone.” And if you ask, he’s going to hit you with a bar from his hit single “It’s me!”

He’s known as Marquis Boone. Boone is no stranger or a new jack to the industry. Boone’s been on the come up for some time now. Since 1996 he’s toured with the Philadelphia rap circuit and cultivated a set of super-friends such as Whiz Gamb, Rap Mogul Gille DaKid, DaWhitt and Atlanta’s Gang of Roses. He’s been an artist since his days at Dobbins/Randolph High School. He broke into the game by happen-stance and had a chance meeting with Marc, the CEO of Conquest 3ntertainment. They were looking for an artist with a flow that could take the game to the next level and then they met Boone. Boone auditioned and was signed the same day.

Boone is THAT brother who’s 'Palmieri-down' and 'keeps his thing tight.' Boone is THAT brother with the gifted-slick-style and suave lyrical delivery that’s non-descript. When you hear his lyrical flow over a J-Strong beat, it puts you into the next orbit. Boone is THAT young gifted and black brother poised to take on the industry and carry the legacy of being dubbed “Philly’s Native Son.” And like the biblical parody of the prodigal son, Boone has returned to Philadelphia from his West Coast promotional tour to shoot his premier video on April 16th thru April 17th. Following the video shoot, he’s planning to finish his promotional tour in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Florida, Las Vegas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Europe (with the Gang of Roses). He’s also planning to team up with his super-friends to launch his charitable organization that re-introduces music and arts in Philadelphia Public Schools.
