Midnight Blue

Written By: Douglas Versagli

Just like the ocean's waves,
a shift in the wind and its currents change.
Along this coastline where I wait,
the air's unclear, until the fog dissappates, and as the morning mist fades everything around me starts to change. This world is so inconsistent, where we take place.
My whole world falls down, as the night sky drops in through the clouds, capturing the pigments and hues of lavender and midnight blue. The sky is so clear by the ocean here, and from the mourning to the night, breaks through a clearing in my life.
Where's your confidence? Because it seems like your faith is gone, but when you're weak I am there and I said that's when I'm strong. You know that fear does not come from me.
My whole world falls down, as the night sky drops in through the clouds, capturing the pigments and hues of lavender and midnight blue. The sky is so clear by the ocean here, and from the mourning to the night, breaks through a clearing in my...
My whole world fell down, but I'm alright, I kept through the night somehow and I'm capturing the pigments and hues of something that I missed in you. My life clears of false fears as this light appears, there's so much here that I had missed, well I really learned from this.

I'll Take the Vote to Dream

Written By: Jordan Weidler

Tears bestowed under undertoes, trials turned her crown to gold. God does she know of the quiet beauty inside of her that grows? A miracle now bursts through the dirt, where tragedy planted so much hurt. It's early spring and it seems that I'm still yet to see everything.
Your heart's mirror is waiting for you dear.
Heaven smiles and it dances everytime your name is even mentioned. The angels sing harmony, beauty blooms by brokenness and grief, brokenness and grief.
She's a rose but the sun's never told her so, raining pain's all sowed. Oh please just know, I don't want you hanging your head low, so walk back through the fields of your mourning and lift your hands to dance, lift your hands to dance, because your chords of character pierce right through me.
Heaven smiles and it dances everytime your name is even mentioned. The angels sing in harmony Beauty blooms by brokenness and grief.
You're a collage of too many amazing things, you're a collage of too many amazing...
Heaven smiles and it dances everytime your name is even mentioned. The angels sing in harmony Beauty blooms by brokenness and grief.
The angels sing in harmony Beauty blooms by brokenness and grief, brokenness and grief.
Why can't you see, you are a miracle to me.

It's What I Know

Written By: Douglas Versagli

In the morning the sun blasts through the blinds, ground coffee beans scattered across the countertop. The day is subtle yet seemingly it finds, what you've kept to yourself for months past now.
It was cold that afternoon, the sun fell as it all fell through yet we're so calm now, yeah we're so calm now.
I know I'm kept by a promise beyond all this, I feel calm and still in this confidence, and it's okay now because this will never leave its here to stay.
Well the sky grows darker now and dims, and the pink sky sifts as the light that's left falls in.
You realize how life turns just like that, but above it all its great to know that I'm safe at last.
In this quiet nothing has been spoken, there are thousands of unread vibes that we've soaked in by the firelight, but they burn away again. No matter what this says it's okay though I am yearning inside for things not to change it just happens, and maybe it's not that bad.
Forget this world I know where hope is I am held in the arms by He who calms the oceans and they'll rage no more, they'll rage no more. Regardless of what I feel, it's what I know and it's been to long since I've gone without noticing it, and it's over now. Well this will never leave it's here to stay.
