- In your own words, tell us about yourself: Bop Boyz was started by me(pscrills ceo)chicago,il an Bonkers who is from cincinnati,oh. we both are song writers an producer. we create a super group of talented artist(names:Life aka loudpack,aplaws,Hosse,flip & J-mo,rick boi Fre$h to be apart of the group like a Wu tang movement our movement is the FlyHighLife 420 smoke one Movement.
2- How long have you been in the music industry? 10 plus years
3- What was your inspiration to get into music? I’m a producer at heart so listening to old 70s records,80's music really move me at a early age.
4- Who have you most enjoyed collaborating with? wit our team we a melting pot of different elements.
5- How has your music changed since you first started? We use to try to make commercial records then one day i say fck it we going under ground an started touring wit twisted insane for 6 shows it was great then opening up for kutt calhourn,now prozack of strange an we been tour also on the lil wyte circuit of shows

6- What are your goals with your music for the future? Sale our next project over 1,000+ copies an headline our on 10 show tour

Is there a story behind your name Bop Boyz?
Bop Boyz stand for bang it out productions we are producers that rap also and we work with our own artists under us!

How long have you been rapping?
I been rapping and producing for 15yrs.

What first got you interested in becoming a rapper?
When I was 12 hip hop was so big in the U.S.

What/who inspires your music?
Mase, Kanye West, Drake, Slick Rick and Dr.Dre.

Do you see being a rapper as a career, or as a hobby?
As a career because our fan base is getting bigger everyday and this become my business I’m my own boss.

What are you trying to do with your music? Do you want to help your community? Are you trying to get rich? What is your goal for your music?
I'm trying to make the world listen to my music and understand my message and I want to be able to make a living also! I want to give back to my hood and the boys & girls club to help the community.

Have you ever performed live? How did it feel?
It's a rush when going on stage my heart racing and I just love live performance.

Do you have any kind of management, publishing or distribution team behind you? If so what are their responsibilities?
No we are indie and we have our own team until we find management. Percy and Rafael run our facebook fanpage/twitter page/our own website/ and we book our own shows as well.

What are some accomplishments that you have achieved, and are most proud of?
We sold 1,200+ copy of our EP online in 2009 that was great and touring 3 cities with Bone Thugs & Harmony in 2010.

Have you ever made any contact with major artists or other high positioned people in the music industry and do you keep in contact with them?
Yes, on twitter with a couple of A&Rs from mid level label to indie label.

What one tip would you give to other aspiring independent artists?
Get your sound together then come out start to build your brand then labels will look for you!

What do you see is in the future for the music industry? How do you think it will evolve/change?
Being indie is getting better and we are able to tour without major labels worldwide, that’s crazy and making good money on the road also!

Do you feel like the internet is helping you as an independent artist?
Yes but we still need to do videos and live shows to continue the movement too!

How do you think social networks such as Facebook and Twitter have affected the music industry?
Yes you can reach fans with new music faster and new fans, period.

What projects are you working on at the moment?
BopBoyz are finishing up working on Tay Kelley’s “Nothing To Lose” project proud to be a part of this project on the music side and promotion side of it. We have a hot (BopBoyz) single named “Get Fck'd Up”, it's dropping on itunes/amazon in Jan.22,2013 so please everybody who reading this support/ we got a internet radio promotion we drop on that single “Get Fck'd Up” and also a new mixtape coming soon called “Love & Other Drugs” dropping in the spring and Bop Boyz are working on our artist Hosse’s mixtape ”2013 Eyes On The Crown”.

Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years time?
Big name in music period/player in the game.
