"Bordertown Ep Release"

Riverside, Lets get Steve, Arsoncityscape, Angry Agency, Bordertown

A whole lot of effort into the name… it’s a good thing that Lets Get Steve saved some of that effort for their rhythm section. The drummer had a ton of energy, very fun to watch. The next band, Arsoncityscape, looked like they just walked out of a private school/favourite mall clothing store. They are a talented tight band for sure, in time they will develop into a great clean, mainstream radio band. The 15-year old girls really dig these guys. Angry Agency’s army showed up next. These guys seem to have a very nice following. Their “empty” political anthems can use some work. Technically speaking, they are very talented bunch of guys. Their “anthem”, ‘North American Greed’, received a lot of positive fist-pumping and stage diving. Next on stage was a really fun four-piece punk band, Bordertown. It’s nice to see a band that clearly loves what they do and have a fun time doing it. The very large crowd sang along to all of their songs. I have to admit, the song ‘Sk8 Star’ was playing in my head on the walk home. I had a swell time. All five bands were definitely entertaining. The music scene in London is what keeps a lot of people here (including me). - London Indie

Bio

Bordertown are a hard-rocking 4 piece punk band hailing from London, Ontario.

Having established a final lineup mid September of last year, Bordertown are now taking major steps to become the next big band to come out of Canada.

The guys have recently finished recording their debut full length album "Welcome to Bordertown" as well as signing with Japanese label Bullion Records (The Ataris, MxPx).

This summer, Bordertown are heading out on their second East Coast of Canada tour as well as working on a West coast tour to follow up in early fall.

In the new year the guys will reach new heights as they break into the Japanese market with their first international tour and from there, the sky is the limit.

The talent and drive these four young "punks" possess cannot be rivaled or matched. The future looks bright for Bordertown...
