Biography

GRW may appear like any typical Canadian with Scandinavian heritage, yet it might surprise you that GRW hails from the Oaxaca region in southern Mexico. He was discovered as a small child in the ruins of Monte Alban, which translated directly to spanish means "White Mountain"(google it). A small community of Mayan descendants raised Gordon as their own until at the age of 15, when he set out to create music and mix epic tracks. GRW made his way north and met a fellow lost traveler by the name of CDM.

CDM was left as a young boy at a 4-1/2 star resort in Cabo San Lucas. He was raised by the resort staff and could mix a perfect Gin martini by the age of 9. In the resort town of Cabo San Lucas, CDM discovered his affinity for epic parties, debauchery, and incredible music. It wasn't until 4 years later that he encountered GRW spinning at a small club on the outskirts of Cabo, where there the law didn't exist. On that evening a DJ duo entitled ¡Borracho! was born. CDM and GRW now call Toronto, Ontario home and have embraced their tri-cultural heritage. ¡Borracho! are seasoned veterans that have created epic parties and have performed in a number of countries and venues. They're continual search for the epic party is inspired by the music and the people that come out to dance.
