Boshia Raejean

Artistic Femme Fatale Boshia Rae-jean, born October 31st, emerges from Orange, NJ, as a multifaceted, non- categorizable performer, choreographer, singer and emcee. Boshia discovered early on in her childhood that she had an unparalleled ambition and true talent in music and dance, and commenced dancing at the age of 3, to then pick up the clarinet at the age of 8. At 12, With her understanding and ear for music, it wasn't long before she naturally gravitated to writing her own poetry and lyrics, and soon performed for full venues with lingering impressions of undeniably original musical abilities, which opened her up to the art of rap just a few years after. 

Since establishing her professional career in music and entertainment at 19 with Creative Director Dr. Woo, Boshia further enhanced her person by connecting her music to her heart's causes of unity and empowerment, by foundin We Infinity, a non profit organization globally empowering women.

With her wordsmithing, sultry-while-head knocking- flow, lyrical and sonic prowess, Boshia went on to be featured in numerous media events, including  Brooklyn Wildlife show with guest speaker Vashtie. She has also been booked for multiple festivals in New Jersey sponsored by hot 97, WBLS, Power 105.1 with Mahogani Brown, Charlamagne and Curt Flint; Lipstick and Liquor Bottles, Wu World Radio, Afro Punk, VFiles and more. 

Due to her trendsetting Afro- retro unique style, Boshia has also been featured by Fashion Bomb Daily, BlackAndKillingIt.com, Blackfashionmag.com, and has also been displayed as "Vixen Of The Day" by Vibe, while MTV.com has contributed with sharing pictures of her as well.  She is no stranger to telling her story and sharing of her passion for the art of music, as the documentary chronicling her persona as an artist, entertainer, business woman, daughter and friend is currently in production to be released late October 2016.  

Boshia's debut EP "Who is Boshia?" spearheaded by it's lead single "Hit The Party On The Floor" (prod. Zpella), is due to be released November 2016, while the single is scheduled for October 14th 2016. "Hit The Party On The Floor" marks Boshia's debut single release, as well as her debut official music video release, Directed by Nimi Hendrix.
