Bosqiuat Sant Laurent

Born in Detroit, MI, the now California native was raised in a musical family. Being of mixed race and religion, his father of Jamaican and Panamanian roots, and a mother with French and Spanish-creole roots, he acquired different views on the world and how he viewed himself and others around him. With religion and music being a circular figure in his life he carried that through getting older.

He began to see music as a way of expressing the feelings and thoughts deep inside of himself. Beginning with a knack with producing music and expressing his writing. Getting inspirations from legendary artists such as U2, Jimi Hendrix, Peter Gabriel, Jay-Z, Massive Attack, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Bob Dylan, & Sade, he began to know the avenue and vision for what he personally wanted to get across to the world.

With his blend of electronic, alternative, dance, hip-hop, ambient-pop, and new wave R&b, Bosqiuat Sant Laurent is a genre-bending and defying artist who says he just makes what he feels inside. He says he creates music for the world, not a group of listeners. He can switch between lyrical profoundness, story-telling, and creating beautiful production pieces that could make a movie film elevate it's worth. Whether he is fully singing, harmonizing, dissapearing into his tracks, or weaving you in and out his scenes with his lyricism, he does it with a passionate vivid sincerity and a cool that is second to none.

Whether it's a smooth ballad, indie-rock style out putting or languid lashing of sorts, it is very distinct, his music concerns things he see's around him, feels within, and outside the pysche. With that he makes the music with a profoundness, cosmic looking, rebellious appeal that is both charismatic and clearly pushing the boundaries. Also stylish and always looking to entertain the minds and hearts of listeners, he knows how to make music that anyone can love and feel like it is something truly special.
