Boss In Drama, the 22 year old Brazilian producer/DJ, has already made a name for himself with official remixes of N.E.R.D., Miami Horror and Brazil’s own Copacabana Club, infusing all the tracks with his unique blend of electro-funk and 80's Italo-disco. He has also found a big fan in Justin Timberlake, who has dubbed Boss In Drama the “Brazilian one man Chromeo”.

‘Pure Gold’ is the perfect musical embodiment of Brazil’s sun-soaked days that give way to nights filled with bright lights, dark dancefloors and beautiful tanned bodies. From the first beat drop you know you are in for a wonderful musical ride – a sexy, slick and pulsing electro-funk ride to be exact – lead by vocals that echo the cool confidence of Prince.

Boss In Drama is 22 years old, lives in Brazil and makes a rather enjoyable sort of funk-fuelled disco noise along the lines of 'Pure Gold'.

We predict the album will feature four amazing songs, three alright songs and a number of songs you won't really listen to very much but seem alright in a 'this will pass the time' kind of way. We're looking at a 6/10-7/10 sort of album here. And some of the best albums are 6/10-7/10. Obviously some of the slightly better albums are, for example, 8/10, but you get the idea.
