"RadioIndy.com Reviews 'Travelin' Show'"

Travelin' Show is an excellent adult rock fusion album from talented singer/songwriter Bowen. Bowen's lyrics travel straight from the heart to the page, and he expresses them with a great vocal performance similar to Chris Martin of Coldplay and Gavin DeGraw. He combines these talents with a cutting edge sound and great production to bring you an album that is here to stay. Above all, Travelin' Show is an album of great songs, each and every track so catchy that you will find yourself simultaneously singing along and reveling in Bowen's creativity. The songs are filled with great melodies and a nice layering of sounds both in the vocals and in the arrangements. If that isn't enough, the quality of the recordings is excellent with every facet of the sound represented throughout. Highlights include 'Back On You,' with a great vocal performance, intense lyrics, and a fantastic relationship of sounds in the arrangement. The title track, Travelin' Show, features a tight beat and is as powerful as it is melodic. Jaded soothes your ears with guitar delays and gets your heart pumping with an energetic vocal performance. With Travelin' Show, Bowen has created a memorable record filled with strong male vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and cutting edge production. If you enjoy the pop rock sound and male singer/songwriters, give this CD a listen.

"UK Loves Bowen"

Bowen is a Canadian singer/songwriter/guitarist with something special to offer. Here he brings you his latest album, 'Travelin' Show', in which he lays down a collection of excellent songs that skip in and out of genre; sounds from here, styles from there but, everything coming quite clearly from the heart, soul and lively mind of Bowen.

'Travelin' Show' is a pretty chilled, atmospheric work that's easy to sit and relax to. Bowen's silky vocal style lulls you into a peaceful frame of mind as his music washes over you. Bowen's voice is pretty damn versatile and he has the ability to take it way down and easy or reach out and raise the rafters - and he uses its full potential across the eleven tracks offered here. Bowen's music caresses rather than jolts - his multi-layered assault on the senses is conducted with subtlety and tenderness. That said, Bowen really seems to live in his words; his pained, expressive vocal delivery tells you exactly where he's coming from. The guy is living his dream and all he wants you to do is join him and enjoy the ride. And, certainly that's not difficult to do; Bowen's accessible approach ensures the listener feels part of the long ride home to Bowen's musical world.

'Travelin' Show' sounds like it should be played low and sweet but surprisingly, if your turn up the volume, loud and proud works just as well - in fact, I prefer it a bit more up-front and aggressive, it seems to work better dynamically which opens the door and lets you hear more of the subtle nuances, the gentle ebb and flow of instruments and beats, the vocal dexterity with all of its soulful warmth.
Clever stuff this!!

At the business end of all of this I don't actually see Bowen becoming a world beater just yet, even with this excellent album, as good as it is. I think there's more and even better to come from Bowen yet. I see this aggressively fueling the Bowen fire, raising the heat, sending signals far and wide that should help Bowen climb up a few more rungs of the fame ladder. 'Travelin' Show' by Bowen is a delightful album of exquisitely crafted songs performed with relish and distinction. Bowen sets his stall out in no uncertain terms here and suggests he's got what it takes to at least chase the big boys and make them think a bit. I see 'Travelin' Show' as a great promotional work that should help pull in loads of gigs and help spread the Bowen word. Watch out for the name 'Bowen', you'll sure recognize it when you hear it and you'll sure remember what the guy's about once you've heard his work. Once heard Bowen stays heard - tasty stuff - I look forward to watching how this one progresses.

Bowen’s live shows are engaging!! He can ignite a room and captivate all those who are present!
He sings from his soul with passion and drive. The songs are sometimes gritty, and always real…
if you have a pulse, you will definitely feel it!!

Currently, Bowen is in the process of marketing his new album, making connections with industry reps. and honing his live show.
