Bowinero

Picture five guys, with diverse backgrounds, with musical tastes all across the board. Now imagine them in a metal 10' x10' storage shed making music together. Bowinero is a unique blend of personalities and musical styles -- but somehow, it just works. It's a rock-meets-ambient, folk-meets-pop kind of vibe that results in music that is accessible, intense, unexpected and fun all at once. When asked how to describe Bowinero's sound, fans have a hard time narrowing it down to one specific genre or similar band. They're often compared to acts like The Killers, Modest Mouse, The Appleseed Cast, and Death Cab For Cutie.

They first formed in 2009 and completed their line-up in mid-2010. Shortly after, they recorded a three-song demo and began playing live shows throughout throughout the Midwest. Their live shows are energetic and crowd-pleasing, as old and new fans alike find themselves moving to the music.

The band is anxious to get back in the studio and record a full-length album by the end of 2011.
