THE ACTUAL TRUTH:
International Indie Rockband - 1 Part Portuguese, 3 Parts Belgian - Vastly grooving and highly addictive!

The concept was born when Portuguese singer/songwriter Bruno Rocha decided to have a parallel project, more indie/alternative sounding than his solo one (Self Shot Soul).

He met Belgian drummer Bruno Goedhuys and they started rehearsing together, and the energy of the duo was great right from the start. All this increased one notch when Gilles Vanhougstraet joined them to play the bass. They've rehearsed as a trio for a while, but something was missing to achieve the level of detail of the album's arrangements, so the band kept looking for a second guitar player. That's when Pascal Smets joined, and the flow of the band has again increased with this new member.

Their first EP, produced by Mario Goossens (producer of The Black Box Revelation and Team William), was recorded at the Konkstudios in London, with some overdubs and the mixing being done at The Garden studios, also in London. The band is currently writing more songs and a second studio effort is foreseen still within 2010.

The band is named "Box", and the sound is a powerful indie rock, with herculean drums, riff driven fuzzed guitars and fat basses supporting lyrics that always aim at leaving a strong statement in the listeners brain.
