Boxkidd

Born and raised in Los Angeles,  from Mexican and Salvadorian parents, Mauricio Carcamo aka “Moebeats”, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, beatmaker and songwriter. Giving credit to his father and aunt for his love of music, Moebeats comes from a diverse musical background. He has been a part of many different musical projects. Most notably playing bass for Walla and hitting # 1 on hypem in 2013. For the past 10 years he has worked on his own songs , honing his craft and trying to evolve as an artist. Some of these songs he is now releasing. Under the moniker “Boxkidd”, he meshes synths, reverby guitars and beats. He has also sings on some of these songs in English and Spanish.  According to MB, “With Boxkidd, this is a fun, record and go, approach. No over thinking and over analyzing the music. I want to keep this fun and simple” He will be debuting his “Un Camino EP” later this year.
