Boy Blue

At first, Boy Blue started out strictly focused on creating a sound that made them happy. With musical influences such as The Killers, Passion Pit, and Rooney, they decided they needed to elevate their live show to an electric level. They have acquired this skill through roughly 3 years, hundreds of shows, and countless dance parties.

Boy Blue started recording their first studio EP in summer 2010 at Milwaukee’s legendary Bobby Peru’s Recording Studio. Time, sweat, love, bagels, and late night tacos have brought them to their much-anticipated album release show, coming in May 2011. For their first Midwest tour in August 2011, they will be arming themselves with the finished album, The I Liked You Better When EP, countless pairs of dance shoes, and an ambition to change the view on the modern day music scene.

Boy Blue is poised and ready for whatever the future may have in store. They are also set on dancing and partying their way to wherever that may be. Boy Blue prides themselves on turning frowns upside down, turning heads, and turning up the energy in any and every environment. When you combine a solid EP with a never-ending drive to top their last show, the sky may not even be the limit for this band.

Even before their EP release, Boy Blue's hit single "Robot Tube Socks" has been featured on 88.9 Radio Milwaukee and is played frequently.
