Bradley James Bio
Bradley James is a developing young talent who defies catagorization. When he was eight his grandmother, who was a professional musician, first put an acoustic guitar in his hand. The instrument's six strings became an extension of his body. He started off playing the blues, then crossed over to a rock band where played lead guitar during his high school days. His guitar and vocal skills continue to diversify to include many musical styles: alternative-pop, rock, acoustic, folk, reggae, blues and others.
Bradley has been inspired and his music has been influenced by artists such as: Elton John, Nickel Creek, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Porpupine Tree, Pink Floyd and Metellica. Brad writes about his life, his relationships and his observations of other people. Growing up on both coasts in Maine and Seattle gives his songs a progressive soft rock sound with subtle overtones of alternative-pop.
Bradley divides his time between Maine and Boston is currently working on his first EP. His is busy adding new songs to his play-list in preparation for solo engagements when he emerges from the studio. Brad is also looking for opportunities to perform and jam with other bands. Bradley has worked as print model; something he plans on continuing to do in addition to recording and performing his music. Keep your eyes on this rising star.
