Biography

Bradley is a native of Cape Cod, where he began his musical career as a drummer. He is a self-taught composer and songwriter, originating when his father began giving him piano lessons at the age of 7. He felt a need to grow musically, so he taught himself drums 5 years later and won awards during his high school years. By the end of high school, he started playing guitar and composed his first song. Bradley is no stranger to the scene. His talent and reputation has allowed him to work with top recording musicians including Gregg Bissonette (James Taylor, Toto, Duran Duran, Santana), Johnny Friday (Natalie Cole), Ross Bolton (Al Jarreau), Pathik Desai (Kelly Clarkson), and Khalil Ekulona (Fresh Air). Most recently he had the opportunity to play drums for an up and coming artist, Tim Fagan, who co-wrote the song, Deeper, with John Mayer and is currently touring with Colbie Caillat. As a performer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist Rapo has earned awards and honorable mentions from The World Animation Celebration at the Pasadena Civic Center (Most Groovy), Songwriters Guild of America working with the late Jack Segal, VH1 Save the Music, and the 2001 John Lennon Songwriting Contest (a nationwide contest). His album, Love Lost Love Found, exemplifies Rapo's abilities as a musician, producer, and songwriter. Triple A tastemakers should NOT pass up a listen. For those of you who are starved for the return of the 'classic artist', this array of pop, rock, jazz, wit and lyricism is for you. With catchy hooks that will sink into your soul, to intense ballads that free it, it's a 'must have for your musical library.

Love Lost Love Found

Written By: Bradley Rapo

too many roads less traveled
so many hearts unraveled
there's a time to come
there's a time to go
so many words not spoken
just when my life seems broken

love will still be around
love lost love found

just as the tides come in once more
changing the surface of the oceans floor
there's a time to live there's a time to die
just as the rain clouds my eyes
soon the sun will rise

love will still be around
love lost love found

love will still be around
love lost love found

Shooting Star

Written By: Bradley Rapo

It’s been a long long time
Since I’ve seen a shooting star
So beautiful to see
That’s what I think you are

I’ve waited patiently each night
To catch that sight above the sea
‘Cause as it shoots across the sky
I wish it’d land right next to me

I know the chances that will happen
Are few and far between
I can tell you that
‘Cause this much I know
I will never get that close to one
If it has got somewhere else to go
I try to keep my hopes up
Should I go or should I stay
I might just take my chances
If I know you’ll go my way

Every time you’re near
I get this nervousness inside
Being vulnerable to you
Is something I can’t hide

Now that I’m this way
Please be gentle on my soul
knowin’ you’re thinking of another
Has begun to take its toll

Sometimes I wish
That you were somewhere far away
I could get back to the way I used to be
Since I’ve fallen for you
Like a star won’t you fall for me

I can’t play games any longer
There’s too much at stake
My heart’s in a fragile condition
It’s too easy to break

So what am I to do
Should I wait under the sky
In hopes my favorite shooting star
Will come flying right on by
And land right next to me
