Brainfood is a collaboration of instrumentalists and producers that perform covers, remixes, and original music.
Lead singer and front person Zaynah (Christina Betrus) commands the stage with her blues and soul inspired vocals, and adds electronic drum pads to complete her vibrant persona.
DnA (Dan Adamz) delivers the Brainfood vibe by creatively mixing various songs together using his unique DJ set up, and also plays acoustic guitar, bass, and synthesizers.
Beyondus (Kevin Sroczynski) adds guitar and synthesizers improvisation to always deliver a one of a kind live experience.
Newest to the band is our drummer, Sara Magee, who with her years of practice in the style of rock and jazz adds the perfect fills to our live sound.
Last but not least, back on the bass after a long doctoral hiatus is the one and only Dave "The VJ" Zero. He's a master of all things lights, lasers, and analog visuals, rounding out the team.
Complete with lighting and visual display, Brainfood surpasses the standard boundaries of today's genres. From our experiences producing a wide range of shows, from nightclubs in NYC, to dive bars in Jersey City, to NJ country clubs, we have the know-how to provide a musical and visual experience people won't soon forget.
