"Garage Band"

Wow....the vocals match the beat perfect! The hook flows pretty well to the song too, transitions were hott too! Overlays were very nice for being an amateur rapper. Very original too, record companies are always looking for the next big thing....you mixed a snoop dogg beat with Ludacris lyrics! lol very creative. Lastly, the production and quality of the song were great... Sounds like it could be on the radio and I wouldn't question why it's on there. Very nice, keep working on putting your style with the right beat for you and a lot of time in the studio and you could be something good.... nice job

"Garage Band"

Hahaha, nice intro. Really good chorus, and the way you messed with the words is really good, too. Could be a future Snoop, except you've actually got your own rhymes, and don't make your own rhymes. Your voice is compelling and enthusiastic so the listener wants to hear what you have to say. I'd be interested in seeing y'all perform live down here in the dirty south, haha. - Jchurch34 from Abilene, Texas

To Whom It May Concern,

The purpose of this letter is to serve as a reference for Mr. Dasan “Brainwavezz” Isom.

I have known Dasan for about two years. Dasan and I have both served together at Salem Bible Church. I believe that Dasan knows the Lord as his Savior and that God has placed a burden upon his heart to serve Him in ministry. Dasan has expressed his desire to minister within the Christian rap arena. I have on two occasions had the opportunity to hear as he ministered the Word of God through Rap. Through his ministry I was truly blessed. I believe that Dasan is genuine in his endeavors and that if given the opportunity to excel in his ministry, he will make a great impact for the Lord. Furthermore, I wholeheartedly support him in his ministry and wish God’s blessing upon him, his wife, and his ministry. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

To Whom It May Concern,

The intent of this letter is to serve as a reference for Brainwavezz.

I have known Brainwavezz for about two years. Brainwavezz and I have both served together at Salem Bible Church. I am positive that Brainwavezz knows Jesus Christ personally as his Lord and Savior, and that God has a calling on his life to serve Him in ministry through the vehicle of Christian Rap. I have on three occasions had the chance to not only grant him the opportunity to minister, but to also hear him minister the Word of God through Rap. I have been truly blessed by his ministry. I am sure that Brainwavezz's motives are sincere in his ministry, and that he soley operates it based upon the Holy Word of God. If Brainwavezz is given the opportunity to succeed in his ministry, I have no doubt that he will make a great impact for the Kingdom of God. Bio

Born and raised in Ellenwood, GA, Brainwavezz of Gospel Rhymes Records did not grow up in a Godly driven household for him to start a career as a rapper that focuses on positive living, the love of Jesus Christ and the ministry. At a very young age, he was a talented tap dancer, poet, and fictional writer. In high school, he was an inspired R&B singer and songwriter, and later a unique secular rap artist who even performed and networked with talented underground artists as well as successful rap artists such as Ludacris and Little John & the Eastside Boyz.
Before accepting salvation, his former artist name was Dimensional and he was mostly known in the Atlanta underground Hip Hop arena with his song, “Da Beast From Da East” featuring his long time friend, Atanio “Infrared” that received airplay on one of Atlanta’s urban radio station. During this particular time offers from labels and managers started to roll in. Also, the street life and his home environment were really beginning to take its toll on him. “I knew I needed to get out these environments, but I was held captive under bondage battling with spiritual warfare and generational curses. I always knew there had to be a better way to live than this, but didn't know how.” Later, Brainwavezz felt a pull on his life to start living a better life and make better decisions after talking with a friend on his job. “I knew God could help me, but didn't know how easy it was to call on Him due to my life-long lack of church exposure. I didn't know that I could just pray the prayer of salvation, get on the internet and watch TV to listen to sermons or ask for prayer, despite growing up in one of the most church abundant areas of Atlanta. I had no Christian friends that could expose me to Christ except for one who took the time and talk to me like a human being.” With the seeds planted, Brainwavezz took a break from rapping and begun to seek an understanding of who he really was, his relationships with his family, friends, and most importantly where he stood with God. “During my public transportation commutes, I saw men reading the bible and didn't know much, but knew the bible could help. Not realizing what I ended up saying, I later ended up praying the prayer of salvation in my room, and things began feeling a lot better and the load was lighter.” Brainwavezz and his wife later joined a local church in December of 2001. He still felt something was missing, and realized he wasn't baptized then. In January of 2002, he became baptized at Salem Baptist Church. At the age of twenty-three under God's leadership, he decided to use the vehicle of rap music to spread the message of Jesus Christ. He then created a professional recording studio and began gaining producing experience recording demos for several underground artists. Now as a Man of God, Rap Artist, Captivating Performer, Songwriter, Engineer, and Producer, Brainwavezz has started a very unique and versatile "Dirty South" style of rap music under his co-owed label, Gospel Rhymes Records, LLC. Brainwavezz’s style consists of fast flowing, thugged out, shoot-from-the-hip, dirty south style lyrics that are extremely addicting and simple to understand. He attacks subject matters that are on the minds and in the hearts of many people, and effectively rhymes the lyrics to such matters in a way that all walks of life can relate to them. He intends to let the world know that you can still be a Christian man that raps and have your music crunk enough to be played on mainstream radio stations, BET, MTV, or anywhere, yet not have a sinful underlying message. Now that Brainwavezz has matured in Christ, he is aware that God had His hands on him the whole time and had a calling for his life. “He had a calling on my life to preach the Gospel, but not to be pulpit preacher.” He is now a member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church (Bishop Eddie Long), a very well respected rap artist, producer, engineer, and a label owner he co-owns with his wife, Gospel Rhymes Records, LLC. His first album release under his label is, From Dah Streets 2 Dah Church which was release June 13, 2006
