Bio

Brandeesh, born Brandon Tyler on May 13, 1982 is from Chesapeake, Virginia. He began rhyming with his neighborhood friends in the late '90s and instantly fell in love with this genre of music. What started off as a hobby quickly became a passion, and his number one goal was to be in the music industry. Before he could make his mark in the music business he knew he had to perfect his craft and properly prepare himself for the long road ahead.
In 2004 he began writing and recording with his newfound team Hoodlife Cartel based out of Norfolk, VA. Creating songs became second nature to him as he continued building a catalog of original music and mixtape material (original lyrics over industry beats) along with contributing to his team's collaboration projects. After three Hoodlife albums the camp was forced to disband after legal issues sent most of his partners to prison.
Brandeesh continued to push forward by releasing music and performing in local events and showcases. He was hitting the radio stations relentlessly and got his first record spin on 92.1. Things were beginning to look up for this rising VA star. The buzz was getting bigger and people were finally taking notice to the hard work that he was putting in. A longtime friend introduced him to a crew called Sound Squad Entertainment in 2006. He clicked well with the team and made it known that this would be his new home.
Sound Squad Entertainment helped to mix a business aspect with Brandeesh's talent and work ethic. This would create limitless options and avenues into the music industry. Now he was more than an artist. He became a promoter, marketer, and also helped manage the team’s finances. They began to release mixtapes at a faster rate, organize their own shows, and travel outside of the state to promote their different projects.
In 2008 Brandeesh and Sound Squad Entertainment began to focus their efforts towards the Internet. Uploading all of his mixtapes and videos to the web only expanded his buzz to a wider audience in a shorter period of time. This move was vital because it only took a few weeks to cover the ground that it would normally take months, and countless amounts of money to do. This has helped Brandeesh take his talents to the next level by working with a wide range of producers from Boston, Massachusetts to the great United Kingdom.
Presently, Brandeesh has released volumes of mixtapes and the debut album "Based On A True Story" is available for sale online. There's no stopping this beast from the middle east coast from reaching his ultimate goal. He has never forgotten all of the friends and family that have helped him on his journey. This experience has taken him to places he would have never gone, and introduced him to people that he wouldn't have normally met. Be on the lookout for this man because he will be a strong force in the music industry for years to come. A special thanks goes out to the Tyler family, Sound Squad Entertainment, Train Genovese of Hoodlife Cartel, his whole tidewater family, and all of his out of town friends that have helped made this possible.
